Agree that extra Z traveling is nice. The only way we can get more Z travel is to raise the gantry. We would need new parts for this and would lose rigidity/accuracy. The adjustment screws on the bottom of the aluminum plates are currently our lowest point and limiting factor. It’s possible we could replace them with shorter ones to gain 1/4-5/8".

On another topic was it you that said they had interest in using a 4th axis?

I would certainly be interested in a 4th (lathe? axis).
