VOTE: Touch Screen Controllers for Benchtop Kilns

I’d like to get two of these touch screen controllers for the Hive’s benchtop Kilns:

They are the “mini” version of what we have on the big kiln, and are drop-in replacements for the three button controllers the small kilns currently have.

This is a purely ease-of-use upgrade that we’ve discussed in the hot crafts area committee a few times. I was promoted to put it up for vote now because I had to open up the SC2 kiln anyway to replace a dead relay.

I’ll put an additional but of budget in for the replacement relay as well as adding a safety relay so we have redundancy against run-away.

Total should be under $1000.

I vote yes as long as it is under $1000. If it goes past that I would want a re-vote

The budget should be pretty reliable on this, the controllers are a known $340 each, and the SSR is under $20 and the relay is $15. I believe any wire or connectors required I have on hand.
