I’d like to bring the small laser back to life with this vote.
This proposal is to get the small laser running again with the SAME hardware as found on the large lager (same controller, laser dot, and focus switch). The small laser will have a separate stop switch, laptop, and monitor.
I still need to work out the safety system for the two lasers operating on a single chiller and exhaust system, but I am extremely confident this can be done for <<$100.
Reminder: we ran both lasers at the old hive without any special safety system. The plan is to work this out in the #lasers channel so that the system allows for the Hive to stay safe with minimal risk to your projects.

Therefore, I’d like to propose a $500 - “Bring the small laser back to life” vote. LUCKILY, Dave S & Megan have already donated $100 each so we only need to ask for <$300.
