Why –
The stained glass classes that started recently have been very successful, but the limited supply of essential materials has restricted the number of participants. Additionally, Margi and I have both used our personal stock of stained glass to support these classes. While we don’t mind, maintaining a back stock is necessary if these classes are to continue sustainably.
The current glass grinder is aged, and replacement parts for it are increasingly difficult to find. Investing in new grinders will ensure that classes and personal projects can continue without equipment failures or downtime.
Proper tools and materials will ensure more members can participate without delays or material shortages. Investing in these supplies will allow us to grow the stained glass program and make it a lasting part of Hive13.
