In an effort to finally complete the renovation we started 2 years ago, I am getting a formal quote for someone to come in and replace the old nasty torn up carpet in the lounge.
The preliminary estimate was $1300, so I’m putting the formal vote up for $1500. Just in case the estimate didn’t include glue or some other stupid thing like that. Essentially they gave me a quote based on the square footage and description I gave them, but that quote can’t be official till they measure it themselves. (615 sq ft if anyone was wondering)
Hopefully we will have the formal measure and final quote in hand this week or next.
The only involvement from our side would be to empty the furniture from the room on the scheduled install date and put it back afterward.
