Next Tuesday we will have Lisa Crump talk to us about costuming and surviving renaissance festivals from shopping your closet, making your own pieces, and how to accessorize. Lisa has been to the Ohio Renaissance Festival, Great Lakes Medieval Faire, Bristol Renaissance Faire, Southern Indiana Renaissance Faire, Kentucky Renaissance Fair and Minnesota Renaissance Festival. She plans on attending 5 faires this year while making costume pieces for herself and friends. What do you wear when it’s sweltering? What should you buy vs. make? How do you get mud out of your garments? Bring your turkey legs and a jaunty tune next Tuesday after our general meeting!
