Teacher would like HTML & CSS help

Hello everyone,

My sister is a teacher for CPS at Cheviot Elementary School. When she started there, Cheviot’s web page looked about like this: http://web.archive.org/web/20050125204039/http://cheviot.cps-k12.org/ . My sister is not the most tech savvy person, but she knows her way around a computer so she volunteered to take over the task of creating a new website for the school about a year ago.

Since then, this is what the cheviot website looks like now: http://cheviot.cps-k12.org/

She is using Dreamweaver CS3 to build the website and has been doing pretty damn well for someone who knew nothing about HTML or CSS before starting on the project. However, there are times when she comes across questions about why some CSS attribute is not working as expected. She asked me to poll the audience here to see if anyone would be willing to answer her questions via email.

If you would be willing to help out, please reply to this message and I will pass your information along to her.

Thanks,
Paul

I’m absolutely willing to help. If my information is useful, I’d like to be able to add it to my blog, and if the questions are quick, twitter would be great, so that other people can benefit from the answers!

She can email me at catherine@madsciencedept.com for twitter @foxydot or @_msd

I’d be willing to help too.
