The board and elected leadership has voted to suspend Juniper for two weeks starting yesterday. The issues discussed were:
- Safety issues with long hair and loose clothing
- Disrupting the meetings even after being asked repeatedly not to
- Not cleaning up after herself
- Taking food without permission, and lying when caught
- A documented history of not heeding signage and ignoring direct instructions, especially about safety issues
To be clear, the board understands that social awkwardness is common at the Hive, and is not disciplining this. Juniper will be reinstated but any future issues will be grounds for further discipline including suspension and termination of membership.
