STORAGE COMMITTEE UPDATE:
Please see below the proposed changes regarding member storage/cornerstone storage moving forward. This will start the process of defining an active status member regarding member storage only. The board/membership will be taking up the active/inactive status for other areas at a later time. This is regarding member storage only.
Proposed policy changes (These are not Bylaw changes):
Storage space is a limited and valuable resource.
Hive13 wants members to use the space and participate in the Hive13 community.
Storage space is a privilege granted to active members
Active members have a door badge record within the last 6 months.
Members with six months of inactivity are encouraged to clear their space.
An inactive member’s storage space will be given a Yellow Two-Week Parking Pass Violation Ticket.
Members may have only one storage space either standard or cornerstone.
Membership fees do not guarantee an assignment of a storage space.
Cornerstone contribution does not require assigning a 4x4 cornerstone space nor guarantees a cornerstone space.
This policy will be enforced moving forward:
All Flammables must be stored in the Flammables cabinet. No rattle cans, petroleum products, or HAZMAT eg: Acid batteries in Member Storage.
Please join the conversation. We need/request your feedback so everyone’s opinions can be heard. Please make all comments in a timely fashion.
