I’m taking an online class in Soap Making, and I’ve reached the point where I need to go make some actual soap. I’m planning on trying this out at the Hive on Saturday, June 25th. If anyone would like to join me, you are more than welcome to.
I have never made soap before, so this will be more of a “workshop” than a “class”. There are two main methods I’ll be looking at. An easier method and a harder method. If the easier method goes well and there is plenty of time, I’ll move on to the next stage the same day.
I’ll probably try to get there after lunchtime, so let’s say 1:00p for a start time. The process takes several hours so I plan to be around until around 3:00p or 4:00p, maybe later.
There is a list of ingredients and tools below that I’ll be acquiring between now and then. If you have any of these items and want to contribute them, just let me know.
