We now have mirrors of the following distros at the hive:
- Ubuntu (full i386,x86_64(
- CentOS (full)
- Fedora (full)
- Gentoo (full)
- raspbian (full)
The raspbian one is rather new, but, should make life easier if you want to update your items at the space. I’ve submitted requests for the raspbian and ubuntu mirrors to be added to mirror-redirector, so, if you do come down to the space, you should be able to see the benefits of having your electronics at the space instantly, with insanely fast update times.
Starting tomorrow, I am going to start downloading a full debian mirror at home so that we can have the same at the hive, and then adding Debian to our PXE menu for fast installs. If you want to try linux, and are unsure of what you need to do, come and talk to me and I’ll be more than happy to show you how to get a linux install up and running rather quickly down at the space!
