Parts for 120vac to 5vdc power supply?

Hi all,

I'm working on a project to switch an AC outlet on/off with a relay
driven from an Atmel microcontroller. I've seen examples of how to do
this, but they all run the microcontroller off a 5vdc wall-wart. What
parts would you need to build the wall-wart onto the same board as
the microcontroller?

I think I'm looking for a switched mode power supply, but when I
google that I get a lot of DC-DC converters. I want to avoid a big,
heavy transformer.

Any links, part numbers, or search terms are appreciated.

You should look at what is used in one of the wall plugin power supplies for USB. Maybe even just salvage one and use the parts.
