Join us for the first Cincinnati NodeCopter event. We are programming flying robots on September 7th for the whole day. We’ll start at around 9am on Saturday and hack until around 4pm. Then we’ll have a demo.

This is a hack day. The programming happens in teams of three persons. Each team receives one Parrot AR Drone 2.0 and spends the day programming and playing with it. Each team decides among themselves what drone programming project to do. At the end of the day, there is a demo session where each team gets to present their work.

This is bad ass.

Awesome Excellence! Jim

Damn! I still be at burning man! Who else plays with quadcopters in our member base?

I do

Do you by any chance have a realllllly solid understanding of quaternions and euler angles? There’s some analysis work I’m trying to do with the 6dof/9dof data coming out of a human-attached rigid object. The math is beyond me, sadly.
