Per the planning meeting, I’m putting together some initial concerns and targets for grant applications / writing. As I stated, we should not be intimidated by this prospect, and should begin applying by ourselves for strategic grants.
To start, The Cincinnati Public Library offers grant writing classes, consultations, and a research center.
If people are interested in developing a specific strategy, we’ll need to discuss this at a later date (we’ve got a lot going on now, I don’t want to overload). Let’s start by just knowing it’s possible, and start educating ourselves. I’m always happy to talk more casually about my thoughts and previous experience in person, too.
