Member Vote for Expansion - Audio Studio Building Supplies:

This Member Vote is to complete the infrastructure buildout of the Audio/Podcast/Ham Studio. The items listed below have been identified as supplies needed to complete the studio build with an emphasis on sound attenuation.
- The walls of the studio will be 3 layers of drywall thick, two on one side and one on the other.
- The walls will be taped and mudded at each seam on each layer.
- The walls will be insulated with R15 Rockwool insulation (flame-resistant) with sound attenuation adhesive used on the studs and between the drywall panels.
- The floor will be finished with Reinforced Mass Loaded Vinyl, which will uncouple the concrete floor from the vinyl plank flooring.
- New 22mm thick Vinyl Plank Flooring that is waterproof and designed for heavy-duty use.
- Sound attenuation foam panels will be applied to the wall of the studio. All materials are flame-resistant
- Sound attenuation blocks will be added to the corners to provide sub (bass) traps.
- New LED track lighting with appropriate dimming/motion sensor functions to help with noise coming from lighting fixtures (No ballasts, No filament hum)
- Appropriate threshold plates and door sweeps for the door that will be built.
