January CNC classes are scheduled

January 5 and 6 (yes its a thursday and a friday) 6pm-8:30pm

and

January 21 (saturday) from 10am to 4pm (with a break in there for lunch).

Please be on time/early so the classes can start promptly at 6pm and 10am, respectively.

Cost is 20$ for members and 30$ for non-members. Please sign up through eventbrite (or send Jim@hive13.org the class fee directly and email me your paid receipt and I will change the eventbrite tickets to reflect it - if you do this please make sure you note that it is for the CNC class fee somewhere in the paypal payment). Links below to the eventbrite page - should also be on the Hive13 facebook page now!!

Students will walk away with an endmill and a very nice piece of 1/2" birch plywood (2.5’ x 2.5’) and the knowledge of how to use our very nice CNC machine!

Please bring a laptop with VCarvePro trial edition already installed on it. If you don’t have one to bring, there are a few desktops around the hive that should be available (though it will be difficult to follow along the presentation)

What is the deadline to sign up by?

Either when it sells out or an hour before the class (at least on event brute), whichever comes first! So plenty of time! Just thought I’d get them out there!

As a heads up, I have gone ahead and signed up for the Saturday class on January 21st. I do not have a laptop I can install the software on, though, so I’m going to need to have to use a desktop at the hive for that class.
