About the Greater Cincinnati Makers Collaborative
The Greater Cincinnati Makers Collaborative (GCMC) began after a 2021-2022 study by the Urban Manufacturing Alliance (UMA) found that Cincinnati could benefit from a group to help makers turn hobbies into businesses. Since October 2023, a small team of local leaders has been working to define GCMC’s mission, vision, and structure.
Our team includes leaders from Hive13, PAR-Projects, Wave Pool Gallery, 1819 Innovation Hub, Sew Valley, Findlay Market, and others. We’re now introducing the GCMC project to key groups like yours to gather feedback and shape our growth.
Best regards,
Dave Velzy
