Are there any plans for an open house coming up? Even though our meetings are always open there isn’t usually a lot going on with the different tools. Would anyone be interested in setting up a demo of a few of the tools such as the routing table, laser cutter and 3d printer?
The reason I’m bringing this up is when I went to Re-useapoluza I spoke to a gentleman there named Brian who works for Building Ability. They work with people with disabilities to make things like hand turned ink pens, wood chairs and other things. They sell the items as a way for the individuals to make income and to support their non-profit. He is interested in bringing his guys to Hive13 to see our setup. It could be a chance to invite other groups in at the same time.
