HIVE13 eggbot project

Folks:

Thanks for the positive feedback in the buisness meeting earlier
tonight and go-ahead to launch our own HIVE13 eggbot project. It's
got lots of possibilities.

For an idea for what we'd look to recreate, check out a predecessor's
work, Bruce Shapiro, and his site at the following link:

http://www.taomc.com/the_process/studio_machines/egg_plotter.html

Our first eggbot project team meeting will be at the hive next
Tuesday, August 25 from 7:00 to 7:20 pm prior to the start of the next
business meeting. See all interested parties then.

Somebody reply to setup a project space for the group's work and tell
me how to access it.

I’ve started a Wiki page for this project here: http://wiki.hive13.org/index.php?title=Eggbot - you can edit the page as you see fit. Let me know if you need any assistance getting registered for the Wiki and getting started editing the page.

Added myself to the page.

Just playing around with blender and UV unwrapping of an Egg. Once
I'm happy with the exact method I will attempt to script the process
in python.

I'm trying to find a nice universal method that can wrap 360 or just
apply primarily to the 'face' of the egg.

See attached pic.

you should do the tupac eggs for real, and then make a little bow out
of bandana and glue it on.
