HIVE13 Beer Brewers & Newbies, don't miss the Cincinnati Bockfest this weekend

To all the HIVE13 Beer Brewers and the Newbies to Cincinnati, don't
miss the 21'st annual Bockfest celebration of our fair city's brewing
heritage in Over-the-Rhine this weekend.

Details are in today's Cincinnati Enquirer Weekend section.

Friday 5pm to 1am - the parade, beer blessing, and live music into the
night

Saturday 8:30am to 1am - Brewery tours, 5k run, Brewer's summit and
Brewing League Competition, live music and the Sausage Queen finals

Sunday 10am-7pm more Brewery tours, stein displays, live music,
Continental dancing and performances by local German groups

Other affiliated Over-the-Rhine venues (local bars and restaurants)
are also participating during the weekend.

The Bockfest parade starts tonight at 6:00pm at Arnold's bar & grill
(201E 8th St) lead by a goat, a keg, and her royal highness, the
Sausage Queen. The parade travels up Main St. to Bockfest Hall (1619
Moore St.) where the ceremonial first keg of bock beer will be blessed
and tapped.

Sure, it will be cold, but hey, it's a beer parade and a party!

Jim

Lindsey and I will be in the parade tonight, running the 5k and pouring beer tomorrow, and volunteering from 10-2:30 on Sunday! Hope to see some Hive13 members down there!

Ian

While I still haven’t made to Hive and don’t know any of you yet, I’ll be in the parade today and down there tonight. I’m also running the 5K in the morning.
