I can vouch for Misumi. We order stuff from them all the time.
They can make some amazing stuff pretty cheap.
I had some small shafts (5mm OD) with some steps for only $18. They would have cost about $100 for us to make in our shop.
They have LOTS of parts. Their unmodified stuff is priced OK but their special thing is modifications. I can’t even picture their machining centers. We think they must buy downtime at shops around the country because their modification prices are crazy cheap.
Free is free, but I would leverage their machining skill and get special shafts or custom stuff with the discount.
