I remember hearing a while back about family memberships. Is that still
a thing? What are the parameters of it?

The current bylaws are vague on this but we have been operating under the unwritten guidelines that an member can associate another person (presumably a spouse, domestic partner, significant other but this is also unclear) with their membership and that person will be treated as a full member of Hive13 except they are not permitted to vote. We’ve been working on improving the language of the bylaws to clarify this and also provide an inexpensive upgrade path to allow associated accounts the right to vote.
