The PBS broadcast of Radio Lab yesterday had an eye-opening discussion on current work towards digital facial manipulation. This would be REAL FAKE NEWS, just for fun or for nefarious purposes. You too can make video showing Obama, or Trump, or anyone else, saying anything you want them to say. Another example from the radio program talked of a Jenifer Aniston commercial pitching cosmetics to the Chinese market, speaking perfect Mandarin Chinese from a computer-augmented mouth and facial animation.
