Cool article re: interesting VGA graphics interface / FPGA

This is a very interesting article. Somehow, I had never thought of
using an FPGA for a purpose like this.

There is an OpenCores VGA controller that has been around forever - http://opencores.org/project,vga_lcd - but this looks way more capable and interesting - sprites and tiles in particular. From the article I found his page with more details - http://codehackcreate.com/archives/30, and his original inspiration, FPGAArcade - http://www.fpgaarcade.com/ which made me imagine porting a side scroller game to the moniors that doesn’t scroll - its ten feet of displays side by side. But first things first…
