I was offered the job of COO when the previous COO, Brian Wingate, resigned because he needed to focus on his personal and work lives.
I was told that the COO job was to run the warden program. That sounded wrong to me. Wardens don’t need people telling them what to do. They need someone to listen, complain to and to help make things happen. To move the crap out of the way. Now that sounded like a fun and worthwhile job.
