BTW, the wheelchair battery situation is still open ended. I went to
a Battery Plus store and they did a battery test on the two 50 amp-hr
GEL deep-cycle wheelchair batteries. Both showed BAD at 13.1 volts
and 26-28 amp-hrs. I'd also put the first two of Chris' alternate AGM
batteries on the charger for 24-hours and after that the test showed
they were only at 9.7 and 11.6 volts, rather than something closer to
14 volts that would show a successful charge.
