[CHP] Re: GigaBot Upgrades?

In general I think the gigabot hasn’t needed much upkeep at all. This late issue of extrusion temperature seems fairly out of character. We’ve essentially replaced the brains, so I feel that the printer will operate reliably for a while to come.

It would also be frustrating to sell something that we’ve recently sunk a reasonable amount of time into tuning and money into the upgraded print bed and replacement Controller. I would suggest almost asking for buyback, as the machine is much more operational (once the head is running properly again) than when we first got it. (wiring, rail tuning, etc)

Then again, we could take the heated print bed and new controller off and just make our own gigabot… It may not be that expensive.
