I capped off the small laser exhaust so we could get a more appropriate airflow on the big laser.
I put some tape on the small laser control panel with the instructions “connect the exhaust on the side before using”.
We could get a blast gate for the lasers to help with exhausting the “smoke” from the correct one.
I was screwing around thinking about a counterweight system for the lid. It would me really cool to do a traditional good ole block and tackle design behind it. Figuring out the mechanical advantage needed and making it look good would be cool. I had some complications again with surgery and have been layed up a few days more than expected. Hopefully I will be able to make it down for the meeting or do the virtual meeting lol.
