The big CNC router table is currently broken. As I understand it, some of the wiring became tangled in the machine and had to be rerun. While Coy was working on this, he somehow managed to release the magic smoke from the stepper drivers.
I’d like to momentarily set my usual curmudgeonly personality aside and thank Coy for handling this mishap correctly. He quickly brought the problem to the attention of the officers and board most able to assist. He has also ordered replacement parts out of personal funds. These parts are en route. Hopefully we’ll be back up and running sometime next week.
