I already discussed with him and he will not be running for a board of directors position.

Here is the exact bylaw revision:

New line under section 6.6 listing “3. The COO shall be responsible for managing the area warden program as detailed in area warden addendum which is subject to approval of the membership by quorum vote.”

The warden addendum can be found by searching for “Vote on area warden extension”.
