Air filtration chemistry?

So, was going to make an air filter for soldering fume system. My thought is to use the following:

Activated Charcoal

Calcium Hydroxide (Soda Lime)

Calcium Carbonate

That’ll take care of acidic vapors, chlorine, B.O., etc. Essentially this was the mix that they used in gas mask canisters in the 40s…

Does this sound about right to the chemistry nerds?

Lorin

That will take care of hydrochloric acid and chlorine fumes ok. It’s going to slow the rate at which metal parts in its way get eaten.
