Air Compressor - Hose Leaking

The hose just above the mill has a pretty substantial leak in it. The leak itself is located near the tool insert.

I fixed this by cutting 1-2" off the end, and reattaching the quick release. However the hose itself seems like it’s seen better days, the rubber appears to be distressed, dried out, and likely to break again. Seems like it might be time for a new hose. Anybody know how long that one has been on the reel?

Found this one on Amazon.

I’ll check into the nicer Harbor Fright ones also.

Honestly, the reel is fine, it’s the hose that needs to be replaced (I think). Something like this would be fine, assuming these are the correct connector sizes. Seems like Greg would have the best idea on that one.

Well the wheel doesn't do well when it is as the end of the hose, just a thought.

Yeah, it’s annoying, but I think that’s going to be an issue any auto return winder. I could be off, but without testing them in store, I’d assume they’ve all got a similar design, and that same quirk.

would this work or does it need to be longer?
