Vote: rent out space next door, more space!

Hmmm, since quite a handful of people are concerned about maintenance I’d like to wait to vote on this until we have something better in the lease that Garden St. agrees with.

At least we will be able to deal with maintenance if Garden St. doesn’t fix stuff in a timely manner.

Regarding the “subletting” issue this is what Grant has to say:
“if a workbench or anything else that is subsequently “rented out” within your organization is solely personal and/or property of the organization, I wouldn’t see that as “subletting.” Am I understanding that correctly? To me it sounds in parallel with hair styling salons that “rent” their stations to individual stylists within the structure of the business.”

Still waiting to hear back from Coy for an actual legal opinion here, but Dave had it pretty much spot on earlier when he mentioned it as more of a premium services thing than leasing.
