R/C Airplane Flying Circus event in Cincinnati this weekend

Fellow HIVEers,

For those not going up to Detroit, but staying in Cincinnati, the highly recommended, family friendly, thing-do-see activity here this weekend is the Flying Circus model air show. This year’s annual event is on this Saturday & Sunday 11:30am to 4:00 pm at the Butler County Regional Airport, 2820 Bobmeyer Road, Fairfield, ph:513.608.8521, rcflyingcircus.com.

It will have more than 175 model aircraft of all kinds, helicopters to jets, and a rocket powered space shuttle. 1/3 scale Stearman Squadron, the Doolittle Raiders, 200 mph turbine powered jets, a 12’ wing span B-29 and B-17 bombers and a rocket powered Bell X-1 simulating breaking the sound barrier.

Find some kids (as an excuse) and go be amazed. Sunday looks to have better weather than Saturday.
